Last month's American College of Healthcare Executives Middle Tennessee Chapter networking event held at LifePoint Health provided a chance to connect with other healthcare leaders and hear presentations on healthcare finance, strategy and policies, along with information on obtaining the fellows designation. April speakers included Jim Schulman, Metro Council Member-at-Large and executive director of the Tennessee Commission on Aging and Disability, Andrew McDonald FACHE, shareholder and practice leader with LBMC Healthcare Consulting and past president of ACHEMT, and Phil Wells, LFACHE, adjunct professor at Belmont University Gordon E. Inman College of Health Sciences & Nursing.

The next meeting is scheduled for May 25 with the topic of "Successfully Leading Change in Healthcare Organizations." Also, mark your calendars for the upcoming 2nd Annual ACHE/MT Golf Outing on Friday, Sept. 22 at Two Rivers Golf Club. For more information on these and other events, go online to achemt.org.
