Bradley Welcomes New Intellectual Property Attorney

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Timothy L. Capria has joined the firm's Nashville office as an associate on the Intellectual Property team. He previously was with Patterson Intellectual Property Law.

"Tim has an impressive array of experience that will serve our clients and his colleagues well. I look forward to watching his practice continue to expand and flourish at Bradley."

Mr. Capria focuses on acquiring intellectual property, patent opinion practice and enforcing intellectual property rights. He has a wide range of experience prosecuting patents domestically and internationally, and he conducts freedom to operate opinions and invalidity opinions applicable to the U.S. and other countries. He primarily prosecutes patents in the life sciences and medical device fields, and provides trademark counsel for clients operating in diverse sectors. Before joining Bradley, Mr. Capria clerked in the Intellectual Property Acquisition and Investments group at Amazon.com, Inc. His technical background is in the life sciences, and he has worked as a laboratory technician for one of the world's largest medical device and diagnostic companies.

Mr. Capria earned his J.D. from Duke University and his B.S. from Rochester Institute of Technology. He belongs to the Tennessee Intellectual Property Law Association and Nashville Bar Association, and serves on the board of Poverty & the Arts.
