Byrge has more than 25 years experience with M&A transactions and raising capital for middle market companies. Previously, he served as senior managing director and head of investment banking for FTN Financial Securities, the investment banking arm of First Tennessee Bank. He also held senior management positions in M&A for SunTrust Equitable Securities, Morgan Keegan and NationsBanc Capital Markets. He received both his undergraduate and MBA from Vanderbilt. He has recently served on the board of the Nashville Health Care Council and as a director of NextGxDx. Currently, he's on the Entrepreneurship Advisory Council for Vanderbilt's Center for Technology Transfer & Commercialization. Byrge is a 2014 Council Fellow.
