Centennial Medical Center is scheduled break ground this spring on a dedicated Heart and Vascular Center that will incorporate the latest concepts in cardiovascular care and integrate all cardiac services with close proximity to the Emergency Department.
Cardiac patients will enter through a new, dedicated entrance on the ground floor. Cardiac services will be centrally located on the hospital’s third floor, which will house four cardiac operating suites; one hybrid operating suite; five catheterization labs; two electrophysiology labs; non-invasive cardiology; pre-op and recovery areas; and a 16-bed cardiovascular ICU.
The work is part of an approximate $160 million expansion project on the Centennial Medical Center campus that also involves an expansion of The Sarah Cannon Cancer Center at Centennial. Earl Swensson Associates is the architect for the project. Brasfield and Gorrie is the builder.
