The Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Tennessee Chapter recently held their annual Spring Institute. During the July event, the organization's new chapter officers and board were installed.

2019-20 President: Tina Minnick, is the Southeast Regional Director of Verge Health, a healthcare governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) company. Minnick, who has been active in the healthcare field for 13 years, resides in Knoxville and serves on the Executive Board of the Tennessee Valley Fair.

President-Elect: Buffy Loveday, CRCR, a resident of Chattanooga, is the VP Strategic Development for Nashville-based CarePayment Technologies. She has been active in the healthcare field for 30 years with specialty experience in revenue cycle management and operations.

Vice President: Rodney Adams, MMHC, a resident of Santa Fe, is the Associate Administrator of Finance for Williamson Medical Center, where he oversees revenue cycle operations. He has been in the healthcare industry for over 15 years specializing in hospital revenue cycle operations.

Vice President: Katie Tarr, CVA, FHFMA, of Nashville, is a Shareholder in Healthcare Valuation Services for LBMC. She has been a member of HFMA for the entirety of her healthcare career and has worked in the healthcare industry for over 10 years, specializing in Compensation Valuation (CV) services, determining Fair Market Value of physician compensation arrangements.

Vice President: Valerie Woodbury. CHFP, a resident of Nashville, is Assistant Vice President Contract Management for Ardent Health Services, which owns/operates 30 acute care hospitals across the United States. She oversees all payer reimbursement for the hospital claims and has 35 years of healthcare experience.

Secretary: Pamela Jones, a resident of Kingsport, is the Director of Business Development for MCOT, Inc. and specializes in providing asset recovery solutions to her clients. She has been in the healthcare field for 15 years.

Treasurer: Katie Reid, CPA, CHFP, a resident of Gallatin, TN, is the director of the advisory services practice at Kraft Healthcare Consulting, LLC, an affiliate of KraftCPAs PLLC. She oversees reimbursement and operations services and has been involved in the healthcare industry for 5 years and a member of HFMA for the entirety of her career.
