For the third time in a row, Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital announced its Bariatric Center has exceeded its reaccreditation requirements from the American College of Surgeon's exclusive Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program. Saint Thomas River Park Hospital also announced the hospital has been awarded The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval^® for Chest Pain.

The Sumner Sleep Center recently announced its accreditation by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).

The South College Nashville Physician Assistant Program has earned accreditation from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc. (ARC-PA) for its master's level program in Physician Assistant Studies. The accreditation marks the official kickoff of the program, and 30 students are expected to be in the initial class, which starts in October.
