Nov. 16: Lung Cancer Survivors and Caregivers Invited to Vanderbilt University Medical Center Event

Lung cancer survivors and their caregivers are invited to attend a free educational evening at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) Thursday, Nov. 16, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., at the University Club, 2402 Garland Ave.

"Lung Cancer: A Celebration of Progress," co-sponsored by VUMC and Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center (VICC), is open to all survivors currently undergoing therapy or who are post treatment no matter where they received therapy. Caregivers also are encouraged to attend.

During the educational event guests will learn about the latest advancements in lung cancer research along with new clinical care options at VICC. The evening also will give participants an opportunity to meet and socialize with other survivors and caregivers.

Refreshments and appetizers will be served and parking is free in front of the Vanderbilt University Club.
