Earlier this year, Envision Healthcare Corporation, the physician services and ambulatory surgery center company formerly AMSURG, announced completion of the acquisition of Sunshine Radiology, LLC. The hospital-based radiology physician group practice is the exclusive provider of radiology services to Adventist Health System's Florida Hospital West Region, including nine hospitals in the Tampa Bay area. The group also provides services at an outpatient imaging center. Sunshine Radiology employs 35 board-certified physicians.

The company also has completed the acquisition of Emergency Professional Services (EPS), a group of more than 50 emergency medicine physicians and 20 advanced practice providers who care for patients at four Phoenix, AZ-based hospitals.

Since the merger of AMSURG Corporation and Envision Healthcare Holdings, Envision Healthcare Corporation's Physician Services business has completed five physician group practice acquisitions, including two anesthesia groups, one radiology, one neonatal and one emergency medicine group.
