Saint Thomas Adds Several to Exec Teams

Priscilla Knolle, MD

Saint Thomas Health has made recent announcements about appointments at the system level and in individual hospitals.

Priscilla Knolle, MD, has joined the leadership staff in a new role as vice president, Clinical Utilization and Research. She was most recently chief quality officer for Nashville-based Cardiovascular Care Group. In addition to care management initiatives, Knolle will have oversight of clinical research functions for Saint Thomas Medical Partners and the system's graduate medical education programs. She received her medical degree from Coimbatore Medical College in India.


Shalin Shah, MBA

Shalin Shah, MBA, has been named CFO for Saint Thomas Midtown and Saint Thomas West hospitals. He began his new position on Jan. 1, relocating from Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point in Hudson, Fla. where he served as CFO for four years prior to being named COO. He also held the CFO positions at other Florida hospitals including South Bay Hospital in Sun City and at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute in St. Petersburg. He holds both an undergraduate degree in finance and an MBA from the University of Florida.

Peter Lindquist, DNP, has joined Saint Thomas Midtown and Saint Thomas West hospitals as vice president of Clinical Operations and CNO. He relocated from Mobile, Ala. where he was with Ascension's Providence Hospital where he served as COO and CNO. Lindquist received his undergraduate nursing degree and a master's in Executive Nursing Leadership from the University of South Alabama. He also holds a doctorate in Nursing Practice from both University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Alabama with focus on executive hospital administration and executive nursing administration.

Timothy D. Bode, MD, MBA, has been named CMO for Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital and Saint Thomas Health's regional hospitals. Most recently, he was senior vice president and chief medical officer for Memorial Health in Jacksonville, Fla. Bode received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. After residency in family medicine at the University of California-Davis, he joined the U.S. Air Force as a commissioned officer, rising to the rank of major before returning to civilian life. A certified physician executive, Bode also holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Management.
