- AACR Outstanding Investigator Award for Breast Cancer Research, supported by The Breast Cancer Research Foundation
This award was established in 2008 and recognizes an investigator of no more than 50 years of age at the time the award is received whose novel and significant work has had or may have a far-reaching impact on the etiology, detection, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of breast cancer. Such work may involve any discipline across the continuum of biomedical research, including basic, translational, clinical, and epidemiological studies. - AACR Distinguished Lectureship in Breast Cancer Research
This lectureship, established in 2008 and supported by Aflac Inc., recognizes outstanding science that has inspired, or has the potential to inspire, new perspectives on the etiology, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of breast cancer.

- AACR Award for Outstanding Achievement in Basic Cancer Research
This inaugural award recognizes an early career investigator who has not yet reached 46 years of age based on his or her meritorious achievements in basic cancer research. - AACR-Cancer Research Institute Lloyd J. Old Award in Cancer Immunology
This award was established in 2012 by the AACR and the Cancer Research Institute to honor the memory of the late Lloyd J. Old, MD, and recognize an active scientist whose outstanding and innovative research has had a major impact on the cancer field and has the potential to stimulate new directions in cancer immunology. All areas of cancer immunology will be considered for this award. - AACR Team Science Award
This award was established in 2006 by the AACR and Eli Lilly and Company to acknowledge and catalyze the growing importance of interdisciplinary teams to the understanding of cancer and/or the translation of research discoveries into clinical cancer applications. - AACR-American Cancer Society Award for Research Excellence in Cancer Epidemiology and Prevention
The AACR and the American Cancer Society established this award in 1992 to honor outstanding research accomplishments in the fields of cancer epidemiology, biomarkers, and prevention. - AACR Princess Takamatsu Memorial Lectureship
This lectureship was established and first presented in 2007 in honor of the late Princess Takamatsu of Japan. During her extraordinary life, Her Imperial Highness Princess Takamatsu expended tremendous efforts toward the public and humanitarian cause of the eradication of cancer. This lectureship recognizes an individual scientist whose novel and significant work has had or may have a far-reaching impact on the detection, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of cancer, and who embodies the dedication of the Princess to multinational collaborations. - AACR-Margaret Foti Award for Leadership and Extraordinary Achievements in Cancer Research
This award was established in 2007 to recognize a true champion of cancer research, an individual who embodies the sustained commitment of Margaret Foti, PhD, MD (hc), to the prevention and cure of cancer. The award is given to an individual whose leadership and extraordinary achievements in cancer research or in support of cancer research have made a major impact on the field. - AACR Award for Lifetime Achievement in Cancer Research
This award was established in 2004 to honor an individual who has made significant fundamental contributions to cancer research, either through a single scientific discovery or a body of work. These contributions, whether they have been in research, leadership or mentorship, must have had a lasting impact on the cancer field and must have demonstrated a lifetime commitment to progress against cancer. - AACR G.H.A. Clowes Memorial Award
This award was established in 1961 to honor G.H.A. Clowes, PhD, who was a founding member of the AACR and a research director of Eli Lilly and Company. The Clowes Award recognizes an individual with outstanding recent accomplishments in basic cancer research. - AACR-Joseph H. Burchenal Memorial Award for Outstanding Achievement in Clinical Cancer Research
This award, established in 1996 and supported by Bristol-Myers Squibb, recognizes outstanding achievements in clinical cancer research. The award is named for the late Joseph H. Burchenal, MD, honorary member and past president of the AACR, and a major figure in clinical cancer research and chemotherapy. - AACR-Waun Ki Hong Award for Outstanding Achievement in Translational and Clinical Cancer Research
The AACR established this award in 2017 in recognition of the extraordinary lifelong contributions of Waun Ki Hong, MD. This award recognizes a worthy cancer researcher who has not yet reached 51 years of age at the time of the award presentation and has conducted highly meritorious translational and clinical cancer research anywhere in the world. - Pezcoller Foundation-AACR International Award for Extraordinary Achievement in Cancer Research
The prestigious Pezcoller Foundation-AACR International Award for Cancer Research was established in 1997 to recognize a scientist of international renown who has made a major scientific discovery in basic cancer research or significant contributions to translational cancer research; who continues to be active in cancer research and has a record of recent, noteworthy publications; and whose ongoing work holds promise for continued substantive contributions to progress in the field of cancer. - AACR Award for Outstanding Achievement in Chemistry in Cancer Research
The AACR and its Chemistry in Cancer Research Working Group established this award in 2007 to recognize the importance of chemistry to advancements in cancer research. The award recognizes an individual for his or her outstanding, novel and significant chemistry research, which has led to important contributions to the fields of basic cancer research, translational cancer research, cancer diagnosis, the prevention of cancer or the treatment of patients with cancer. - AACR-Minorities in Cancer Research Jane Cooke Wright Memorial Lectureship
The AACR established this lectureship in 2006 in recognition of the outstanding contributions of Jane Cooke Wright, MD. This lectureship recognizes an outstanding scientist who has made meritorious contributions to the field of cancer research and who has, through leadership or by example, furthered the advancement of minority investigators in cancer research. - AACR-Women in Cancer Research Charlotte Friend Memorial Lectureship
The AACR established this lectureship in 1998 in recognition of the outstanding contributions of Charlotte Friend, PhD. This lectureship recognizes an outstanding female or male scientist who has made meritorious contributions to the field of cancer research and who has, through leadership or by example, furthered the advancement of women in science.
