Orthopaedic surgeons performed their first outpatient procedures in mid-February at the Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee Surgery Center in Franklin. The new outpatient surgery center is a joint venture between Williamson Medical Center and Bone and Joint Institute physicians. The facility was designed to accommodate a range of treatment options from minor procedures to complex cases, focusing on total joint replacement, spine disorders, sports medicine, and general orthopaedics.

The center includes six operating rooms and 25 pre-operative/post-operative beds. Physical therapy and medical imaging are in the same building, as is the physician practice, to create a comprehensive musculoskeletal campus. Regent Surgical Health has been selected by Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee and Williamson Medical Center to manage the Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee Surgery Center, LLC.
