Non-profit Day 7 to convene event Oct. 24-28
NASHVILLE - Finding the balance between caring for your community while trying to care for yourself is complicated; especially for those dealing with some of our most difficult societal challenges. That’s why Day 7 is excited to invite the entire community to the 3rd Annual Self-Care Summit, October 24th - October 28th!
The event will be held in Green Hills. The specific address will be sent to registered attendees.
Each day, attendees will explore different facets of self-care and discuss tools and practices to better care for themselves, in order to continue their work in excellence.
“Day 7 is focused on helping people who work in non-profits or in ministry, who are on the front lines of addressing our toughest community needs,” said Candace Surface, executive director of Day 7. “And while many Self-Care Summit attendees will come from those professions, this event will be open to everyone and anyone interested in self-care.”
After two years of holding the Self-Care Summit remotely because of COVID concerns, this year Day 7 will provide in-person attendance; as well as free “meet & greets” for in-person ticket holders, with Day 7’s Providers.
Meet & Greets are first come, first served opportunities for attendees to have one-on-one time with a Summit Presenter/Day 7 Provider and discuss the field of self- care highlighted that day.
Day 7 is a nonprofit organization that provides nonprofit and ministry staff with self-care resources in order to: alleviate burnout, promote individual and organizational health, and support a more effective and sustainable service community at large.
