Steve Elkins and Bonnie Thomas recently announced the formation of Chapel Home Care. Based in Murfreesboro, the new provider of non-medical home care will service clients throughout Middle Tennessee. Services provided by Chapel Home Care include personal care assistance, as well as transportation, errand running and light housekeeping.

Elkins, who serves as president and CEO of the new company, formerly served as general counsel and chief administrative officer of a statewide provider of non-medical home care. Prior to that, he served eight years in the administration of former Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen, including almost four years as the governor's chief legal counsel. Thomas, a registered nurse and Chapel Home Care's chief operating officer, brings to the company over 34 years of experience in a variety of management and clinical roles across the healthcare continuum, including home healthcare, hospice and home care. She is a past recipient of the national ALFA Award for her work in fall prevention for seniors.
