Bufwack has served as CEO of Neighborhood Health, a Middle Tennessee nonprofit community health center organization, for more than 25 years. Neighborhood Health has grown significantly and now serves more than 32,000 patients annually in 12 clinic locations. Programs range from immunizations and prenatal care to management of chronic conditions and mental health and substance abuse services. Previously, Bufwack spent seven years on the faculty of Colgate University in upstate New York. Locally, she worked with the YWCA Domestic Violence Shelter before accepting her current position. She is a past Nashville Medical News "Women to Watch" honoree and has been recognized by the Center for Nonprofit Management as CEO of the Year.
