Anonymous donor offers $25,000 match to double event revenue

NASHVILLE - Hope Clinic for Women’s last fundraising event of 2023 – and the first of the organization’s 2023-24 fiscal year – brought in $50,000 to support the many services the clinic offers women, men and families facing unplanned pregnancy and those searching for affordable women’s healthcare, counseling services, and other resources.

This was made possible by a $25,000 match offered by an anonymous supporter of Hope Clinic.

“While Cider Carols is a free event to attend, we had a goal of raising $25,000 through sponsorships, a silent auction, and night-of donations,” said Kailey Cornett, CEO of Hope Clinic for Women. “This year, we had a generous donor offer a $25,000 match if we hit our goal, which we did, doubling the impact of this year’s event income.

“On average, Hope Clinic for Women’s annual operating budget is 96-98% funded by donations,” Cornett continued. “So, the success of events like this one is critical for us to continue all the services we offer at Hope Clinic.”

This year’s Cider Carols event was held at Christ Community Church’s Harpeth House on Saturday, Dec. 2, and included food, drinks, live music, children’s holiday arts and crafts activities, pictures with Santa, and a silent auction.
