TriStar Centennial Medical Center has received 3 stars, the highest rating, in Aortic Valve Replacement Surgery (AVR), Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), and AVR+CABG from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) for cardiac surgery performance. TriStar Centennial is one of only 12 programs nationwide to receive a 3-star rating in all three categories.

Beginning July 1, Tennessee Oncology has been selected to participate in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Oncology Care Model (OCM) for a five-year period. “Our participation in this program will support our efforts to pioneer and provide higher quality cancer care at lower costs to patients at convenient locations within their community, close to their home,” noted Tennessee Oncology CEO Jeff Patton, MD.

Maury Regional Medical Center was recently ranked number one in Tennessee for overall hospital care and overall surgical care in the areas of both medical excellence and patient safety for 2016 by CareChex®, a division of Comparion® Medical Analytics. Vanderbilt University Hospital, TriStar Centennial Medical Center, and Saint Thomas West Hospital also appeared in the top six for medical excellence in overall hospital care in the state. In the category of patient safety, Maury Regional was joined by three other Middle Tennessee facilities in the top 10 – TriStar Centennial, Cookeville Regional, and Williamson Medical Center. In the patient satisfaction category, Saint Thomas Specialty Surgery led the way for the state with TriStar Ashland City Medical Center also appearing in the top 10.

Nashville’s Boyden & Youngblutt Advertising and Marketing (B&Y) has been named a winner at the 2016 Healthcare Advertising Awards. B&Y won a total of seven awards, including three gold awards for their work for Parkview Health — two for their Parkview GO campaign and one for their Parkview Physicians Group “More Than A Doctor” campaign. These winners were chosen based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.  

The Nashville Bar Association (NBA) has recognized Bradley with a 2016 Diversity Leadership Award. This marks the 11th consecutive year that the law firm has received the award for demonstrating “a continued commitment to enhancing diversity and access to professional success.”
