In late July, HCA announced Heather Rohan will become president of HCA's TriStar Division, which includes 16 hospitals in Tennessee, Kentucky and Georgia, effective Dec. 1, 2016. She will assume leadership from current president Steve Corbeil, who is retiring in December after a 33-year healthcare career, including 12 years with HCA.

Rohan began her career with HCA 30 years ago as an associate nursing administrator, taking on increasing leadership responsibilities including CNO, COO and CEO. A former Nashville Medical News Women to Watch honoree, she was appointed to her current role as CEO of TriStar Centennial Medical Center in 2012, where she oversees 657 beds on multiple campuses in Middle Tennessee.

Active in the Nashville community, Rohan serves on the boards of Second Harvest Food Bank, United Way of Middle Tennessee, American Heart Association and the HCA Foundation. She also serves on the board of Barry University.
