Aug 22: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation To Host Second Annual Rhythm & Roses Event

On Thursday, August 22 at 6 pm, the Nashville chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) will host the second annual Rhythm & Roses presented by NorthStar Real Estate Advisors and Brauer at Marathon Music Works, 1402 Clinton Street.

The event aims to continue 2019's momentum in making strides at curing cystic fibrosis and furthering treatments for all CF patients.

As the Foundation's marquee Nashville event, Rhythm & Roses will feature two of Nashville's award-winning young country artists Rachel Wammack and Lainey Wilson. Wammack and Wilson have both been recognized as leading up-and-comers in Nashville's music scene, and each will perform sets throughout the event.

The evening will include twelve whiskey tastings, all-you-can-eat options from Hattie B's, Von Elrod's Beer Garden & Sausage House, G Catering and Oliver's Ice Box.In addition to award-winning music, food, and drinks, guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a VIP experience during the event, with the option of special cocktails, reserved seating and VIP tasting options from the William Colliers Room & Bar.

Cystic fibrosis is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States. More than 10 million Americans are unknowing, symptomless carriers of a defective CF gene. Rhythm & Roses supports CFF and its efforts to cure cystic fibrosis and provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives.
