Local management consulting firm c3/consulting has been acquired by Ankura, a Washington, DC-based advisory firm. Founder and CEO Beth Chase, along with several partners, will join Ankura as senior managing directors. Locally, the firm plans to transition to the Ankura name and branding before year's end.

Oman-Gibson Associates (OGA), a Nashville-based national healthcare real estate development and project management firm, recently completed the conversion of a former bowling alley into an outpatient dialysis clinic for Vanderbilt Health. The new facility adds to OGA's growing portfolio of redevelopment projects across the country. Located on Foster Creighton Drive, OGA added 7,000 square feet to the existing 20,500 square foot property, resulting in a 27,500 square feet state-of-the-art outpatient medical facility for Vanderbilt Health. Nashville-based Southeast Venture was the project's architect. Fulmer Engineering, also based in Nashville, served as the civil engineer. Hendersonville-based Olympian Construction managed construction.

Nashville-based technology company Stratasan has partnered with the Texas Hospital Association to give its hospital members that participate in the Compass data program access to the visual intelligence platform Launch Pathway. Stratasan's Launch Pathway facilitates organization-wide strategic discussions and makes it easier to apply data-based research, market trends, statistics, demographics and industry insights to marketing and growth plans.

New York-based Spring Mountain Capital took the lead in the recent infusion of $8 million into Nashville-based 180 Health Partners, which works with pregnant women battling opioid addiction. The firm, led by former Healthways exec Justin Lanning, will use the money to expand services outside of Tennessee.

In March, Envision Healthcare Corporation announced completion of the previously announced divestiture of its medical transportation business, American Medical Response, to an entity affiliated with KKR. Envision anticipates using the net proceeds of approximately $2.1 billion from the sale to reduce debt outstanding under its existing Term Loan B credit facility.

Good move - CarePayment, a leading patient financial engagement company that partners with healthcare organizations to offer zero interest payment programs to patients, recently announced the company achieved 50 percent growth during the it's first year being headquartered in Nashville after relocating from Portland, Ore. The numbers were attributed to 15 new provider partnerships and continued growth within its existing customer base. As a result of this historic growth, the number of patients served by CarePayment has increased to 3.3 million, up from 2.2 million just one year ago, and is expected to increase substantially in 2018 as newer customers fully implement. In anticipation of continued strong growth in 2018, the company secured $115 million in new financial backing to further enhance its ability to offer healthcare providers a patient-friendly solution to rising bad debt.

New York investment firm ICV Partners has acquired Franklin-based Outpatient Imaging Affiliates. OIA partners with healthcare providers to develop, market and operate quality, patient friendly, service-oriented outpatient imaging centers.
