Centauri Health Solutions, Inc. partnered with RoundTrip and Lyft to provide free, non-emergent patient transportation during the RISE Nashville Summit March 12-13. Rides will be covered by Centauri from Friday, March 9th through Monday, March 19th throughout the Nashville area.

Healthcare organizations, hospitals, urgent care facilities, clinics and patients looking to utilize this non-emergent transport will use the code CENTAURI18 when booking Lyft rides, and the cost of the ride will be covered by Centauri. Users can also download RoundTrip's app - RoundTrip Healthcare Transport - or signup to request rides on ride.rideroundtrip.com.

The Centauri-RoundTrip/Lyft partnership is meant to showcase the critical role transportation plays in accessing quality healthcare. In households without a vehicle or those that share a vehicle, it can be challenging for patients to make it to medical appointments for wellness checks or treatments. In addition, lack of transportation is considered the link to other social determinants of health - the social and economic factors that have come to be recognized as impacting an individual's overall wellness - education, employment and income, family and social support, and physical environment. Social determinants of health will be a major discussion at this year's RISE Nashville Summit.

"We're thrilled to be able to partner with RoundTrip this year to help cover the costs of patient rides throughout the Nashville area," said Centauri Chief Revenue Officer, Mark Fabiano. "Centauri works extremely hard to address the social determinants of health, like transportation for patients to doctor's appointments, pharmacies and other non-emergent medical appointments through many of our products and adding a partnership with RoundTrip is just another extension of this."

RoundTrip partners with hospitals, healthcare facilities, and health plans reducing patient no-shows to less than 4 percent. In order to make it easier for patients to access their services, it has reduced booking time from 18 minutes to less than 90 seconds - a 90 percent decrease - and reduced transportation costs by 40 percent.

"We're excited to work with Centauri to eliminate transportation as a barrier to care" said Ankit Mathur, Chief Information Officer at RoundTrip. "Healthcare transportation is a hot topic lately. Our nationwide integration with Lyft and hundreds of other medical transportation providers allows us to offer a full suite of non-emergency medical transportation services. Medical transportation is our passion. It increases patients' quality of care regardless of their background or social-economic status. We are thrilled to partner with Centauri Health Solutions, a company dedicated to making a real difference in patient healthcare."

Headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., Centauri Health Solutions also has offices in Cleveland, Ohio, Nashville, Tenn., Orlando, Fla, Lansing, Michigan and Kansas City, Missouri. For more information, visit www.centaurihs.com.
