Franklin-based Community Health Systems continues to spin off hospitals in 2018. Earlier this year, the large owner and operator of acute care facilities announced a definitive agreement to sell the 85-bed Tennova Healthcare - Jamestown located in the north central section of Tennessee to Rennova Health, Inc. Other announcements include the sell of Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville, La., to Allegiance Health Management; three Tennova hospitals - Dyersburg Regional, Volunteer Martin, and Regional Jackson - to West Tennessee Healthcare; and Bayfront Health in Dade City, Fla. to Adventist Health System.
