Nashville-based alcohol and drug treatment center Cumberland Heights officially celebrated the opening of its Mt. Juliet Outpatient Recovery Center (ORC) last month. ORCs offer alternatives to inpatient treatment for patients who seek to balance alcohol- and drug- addiction recovery with career, family and/or educational demands by offering flexible scheduling, group therapy, 12-Step meetings and specialized family therapy.

"Cumberland Heights is seeing great demand for outpatient counseling," said the organization's CEO Jay Crosson. "In all our ORCs, we offer professional counseling to patients and families incorporating the principles of the 12 Steps. We're excited to serve the Mt. Juliet community with this new ORC."

The new Mt. Juliet site is open weekday evenings (except Wednesdays) with services from 6-9 pm, but assessments can be arranged at other hours by calling the main campus intake number at (615) 356-2700 or toll free at (800) 646-9888. The Mt. Juliet ORC is Cumberland Heights' 12th outpatient facility in Tennessee.
