LifePoint Leader to Retire

Bill Carpenter

As Nashville Medical News was going to press, Bill Carpenter, who has led LifePoint Health since 2006, announced his intention to retire following the merger with RCCH HealthCare, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

"It has been an absolute privilege to lead LifePoint for nearly 13 years and to be a part of the team since the company's inception almost 20 years ago. I am incredibly proud of all the organization has accomplished during that time." Carpenter said as part of the announcement.

David Dill, current president and chief operating officer for LifePoint, will take the helm as CEO of the merged company. Carpenter will have a seat on the merged company's board of directors.
