Last month, Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center (MWCHC) unveiled their first mobile clinic during Healthy Family Day at Rose Park Middle School. The rolling clinic will provide healthcare access to underserved populations throughout the Davidson and Montgomery Counties in an effort to extend services beyond MWCHC's three brick-and-mortar clinics. There are additional plans to expand to rural communities along the I-24 corridor in the future. The mobile unit is outfitted to provide well-child and well-adult screenings, women's health screenings, school and sports physicals, and behavioral health.

"MWCHC purchased this unit to open the possibility that people will have access to care in their community," said CEO Katina Beard. "This mobile clinic could be the answer many people need to improve their health."
