Oct. 19: Heal The Music Day

As you know, all of Music Health Alliance's services are entirely free. Depending on where you are in your healthcare journey, you may have reached out to us for different reasons. For some, it is affordable insurance or understanding Medicare. For others, it is gaining access to doctors, medicine, dental care, and financial assistance to pay staggering medical bills. We walk beside you every step of the way in your battles to fight whatever ailment or accident has sidetracked you from your creativity.

This year is MHA's 5th Anniversary. During that time, we have saved over $33 million dollars in medical bills and reduced premiums serving over 8,400 people. Many of you said you wish you could help us at Music Health Alliance. Well, here is a way you can. October 19 is our second annual HEAL THE MUSIC DAY. Rodney Crowell is again leading the charge to raise awareness while creating a fund-raising opportunity that benefits Music Health Alliance. On October 19, 2018, we ask that people and places that benefit from music directly support us with a percentage of one day's proceeds. Whether it's at Tootsie's, a bar tab at a live music venue, a writer's round, restaurant, or an arena show, we ask for a minimum pledge of 5% of that day's earnings donated to Music Health Alliance so we can continue to heal the music. You do NOT have to do anything you are not already doing.

We need your help to spread the word. If you, or someone you know has been helped by this organization or if you believe in the work we are doing, we ask that you GIVE BACK to heal the music. For every $10 contributed, MHA can turn it into $300 in medical savings.

HOW YOU CAN HEAL THE MUSIC...

HEAL THE MUSIC DAY is the one day each year where those in the creative community and those who simply love music are joining forces to give back to an organization that gives to them each and every day thoughout the year.

  • Own a venue? Host an annual event in honor of MHA on October 19, 2018
