Black women are leading the conversations and shaping the vision with health care providers in Tennessee.
You can join the Nashville chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists for a live Crucial Conversation about how three Black women are leading through a pandemic, an economic downturn and stress over social justice issues on Tuesday, Oct. 20 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The presenters are:
- Katina Beard, MSPH and CEO of Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center and President of the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Primary Care Association
- Alicia Hall, M.D. a family medicine physician and President of Tennessee Women in Medicine
- Robin Williams, M.D. a breast surgeon and President of the Nashville Academy of Medicine
- Moderator is Sandra Dawson Long Weaver, a founder of the National Association of Black Journalists and Editorial Director of the Tennessee Tribune
