Oct. 20: Time for A Crucial Conversation on Health Care

Black women are leading the conversations and shaping the vision with health care providers in Tennessee.

You can join the Nashville chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists for a live Crucial Conversation about how three Black women are leading through a pandemic, an economic downturn and stress over social justice issues on Tuesday, Oct. 20 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The presenters are:

  • Katina Beard, MSPH and CEO of Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center and President of the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Primary Care Association
  • Alicia Hall, M.D. a family medicine physician and President of Tennessee Women in Medicine
  • Robin Williams, M.D. a breast surgeon and President of the Nashville Academy of Medicine
  • Moderator is Sandra Dawson Long Weaver, a founder of the National Association of Black Journalists and Editorial Director of the Tennessee Tribune
