TMA's insurance workshops bring critical information on claim filing, disputes and appeals, policy changes, prior authorizations and more to locations across Tennessee. The Nashville-area workshop is scheduled for October 30th. Participating insurers include: Amerigroup, BCBST, Bureau of TennCare, Cigna/CignaHealthspring, Palmetto GBA, and United Healthcare. New this year: National Alliance of Medical Auditing Specialists (NAMAS) and the Office of the Inspector General, Tennessee (OIG). TMA member of staff of member cost is $179 with additional attendees from member TMA practices at $139 each. Non-member rate for the workshop is $229. Credit is pending for up to 6 CEUS through AAPC.
