Neighborhood Health holds an annual breakfast each year to raise funds and to raise awareness of the services of Neighborhood Health to the Nashville/Davidson County community. Annually over two hundred healthcare and business leaders, as well as donors and friends attend this event. This year we will be joined by the mayor of Nashville, David Briley.

This year the program will focus on our community-based programs that address infectious diseases of increasing concern in our community. This includes HIV screening which is available at all clinics and to all of our clients. In addition, we continue to develop HIV services at three Neighborhood Health clinics as well as offering PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) to those at risk for HIV infection at all of our thirteen (13) sites.

With our outreach and services to over 4,000 people currently experiencing homelessness and the at-risk population in the LGBTQ community we have been able to play a major role in addressing the spread of Hepatitis A in Nashville. In the coming months, Neighborhood Health will expand its ability to test and treat Hepatitis C, a deadly viral infection, which is a growing problem due to the opioid epidemic.
