In late January, Spiras Health announced expansion of its executive leadership team with the addition of healthcare veteran Scott A. Bowers as chief executive officer. Bowers will partner with company founder Brook Bishop, who will continue as president, to support growth and scale Spiras Health's clinical model to help high-risk patients manage their illness. Bowers brings extensive payor and provider experience, with a focus on value-based approaches that address physical, behavioral, and social drivers of poor health outcomes and high healthcare costs. He most recently served as president and CEO of Passport Health Plan in Kentucky. Bowers has served on the Spiras Health Board of Directors since 2015.
