Tennessee Youth Sports Announces Marketing And Tenant Partnership With Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance

The facility long known as A-Game Sportsplex will once again be changing its name thanks to a new agreement between the building's owners and the Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA). The building, which had been renamed Franklin Sports Hall in November, will become the TOA Sports Performance Center.

As part of the agreement, TOA is also leasing more than 8,500-square-feet of the facility to serve as its Williamson County hub for urgent care, physical therapy and performance training. TOA will be taking over both sides of the main entry hall with major renovations being designed to give it the look and feel of an upscale athletic experience.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance to expand our commitment to our sports medicine services and further engage in a highly active community," said Rob Simmons, TOA's CEO. "The TOA Sports Performance Center is a premier youth athletic facility in the southeast. Having a diverse presence allows us to provide a more holistic approach to those seeking an active lifestyle by interacting with the hundreds of active families coming in and out every single week."

TOA had been servicing Williamson County through its orthopedic clinic at Williamson Medical Center. After renovations are complete, the organization will move into its new space in fall 2019, where it will add specialized physical therapy, preventative and post injury performance and conditioning training.

"TOA provides sports medicine services to 24 high schools as well as seven colleges in Middle Tennessee. We are confident the Sports Performance Center will provide a spring board as to how we would like to provide additional value and support to those athletes and their communities," added Simmons. "Now, we will have the blue print to serve athletes of all types with appropriate training and facilities to prevent injuries and, if they do have them, we can now offer the right services and support to get them back to their favorite sports and active lifestyle."

Branding recognizing the naming rights of TOA Sports Performance Center on the actual building will be added in the next few weeks. TOA will join Premier Athletics, Music City Dance, Tennessee Performance Volleyball and Nike Basketball as tenants in the building.

"When our group purchased this facility in 2018, our objective was to attract the leading sports-related organizations in the region," said Roy Dano, managing partner for Tennessee Youth Sports, owner of the building. "TOA is a natural addition. We are thrilled to have them be a part of this vision. TOA will be able to provide much-needed services right here on-site for our young athletes and their families and throughout Williamson County."

The TOA Sports Performance Center is a 174,000-square-foot facility featuring 12 volleyball courts, six basketball courts, a cheerleading and tumbling arena and five dance recital rooms. It also houses concessions offering healthy food options. Since purchasing the building in fall 2018, Tennessee Youth Sports has invested more than $2 million in capital improvements.

On a daily basis, more than 380 youth athletes and 250 adults come through the doors of the facility. The TOA Sports Performance Center hosts many regional events on weekends that draw up to 3,000 local attendees and more than 600 from out-of-state.

Tennessee Youth Sports continues to seek additional tenants. For more information, contact Trey Kirby at 615-377-4747.
