In May, the TFS Kennedy Clinic opened on Almaville Road in Smyrna. The new primary care clinic specializes in serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The clinic is the passion project of Ralph Kennedy, CEO, Tennessee Family Solutions (TFS), whose daughter Marla Jane was the inspiration to ensure others with developmental disabilities had access to affordable, loving care.

Holly Blankenship, DO, and Candace Whitley, PA-C, make up the clinical team at the clinic. Blankenship earned her degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program in Chattanooga at Erlanger where she served as chief resident. Whitely was accepted into the Physician Assistant program at Trevecca Nazarene where she earned a master's degree in Medical Science. Both Blankenship and Whitley are board certified.
