June 26: Panel of experts to speak at "Public Hearing," calling on TN's Senators to answer questions about health care bill

Jun 26, 2017 at 10:46 am by Staff

The Senate is expected to vote on the "Better Care Act" this week. There will be no public hearings and no expert testimony before the Senate votes on the bill. Experts from across the state will convene on Monday evening to raise the urgent questions that the Senators need to answer before voting on this bill. The public will also have the chance to ask questions about how they will be affected by the Senate's health bill. The Senators and their staff will be invited to the forum, and the questions and statements by the panel of experts will also be captured and sent to Senators' offices, with the urgent request that they get answers to these questions before voting on the health bill.
