Saint Thomas Medical Group recently welcomed two new physicians.

Lorraine Charles, MD, specializes in family medicine with particular interests in women's health and geriatrics. She is board certified in family medicine. Charles received her medical degree from Meharry and completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler.

Lada Sloan, MD, is board certified in geriatric medicine and internal medicine. She received her medical degree from Mahidol University, Siriraj Hospital, in Thailand and undertook two internships in Thailand before completing her internal medicine residency at the University of Hawaii followed by a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Vanderbilt. Sloan previously practiced in Atlanta.
