On the heels of the reboot of the original home-renovation series, Trading Spaces, stars of the hit show will embark on Nashville just a week removed from the premiere episode airing on TLC. Nashville will play host to the charity benefit at the Country Music Hall of fame. The first ever "Build Homes, Inspire Hearts Benefit", set to raise money for the Abod Shelters Foundation, will take place on Saturday, April 14, 2018.
In celebration of the kickoff of the 10 year anniversary of presenting sponsor, Valiant Wealth, the company is bringing this unique philanthropic experience to Nashville with host Ty Pennington because they share a passion for philanthropy and actively support the Abod Shelters Foundation's mission to provide quality housing for the world's neediest populations.
A safari atmosphere will lend a unique perspective to guests including a packed Red Carpet and Musical Performances to be announced soon. The Cocktail Reception features an Open Bar and a Live & Silent Auction leading to a Gourmet Four-Course Dinner with a presentation featuring Pennington's Story about his time spent with AbodShelters Tanzania Adventure.
"My ambition has always been to make a difference with my talents," said Pennington. "Traveling the world, I see millions of women and children living under the poverty level on less than $1.25 a day. They live in unsafe, unhealthy, and unfathomable conditions in places like Africa. AbodShelters is a tiny home design working to change this. For example, in remote Mbuguni Village in Tanzania, I joined a team of volunteers to tackle a first-time challenge, to build 10 Adods in 10 days as a micro village. Come have fun with us and see this story of passionate hard work and adventure, as we build homes against the odds, that are now changing lives for the better."
Guests can attend by invitation only or purchased ticket. Tables for the event are available for purchase in denominations between $3,000 and $5,000. Individual tickets can be purchased for $250. To purchase, please visit: www.BuildHomesInspireHeartsBenefit.org.
