Bass, Berry & Sims PLC recently announced Angela Humphreys has been appointed to serve as practice chair of the Healthcare Practice Group. She succeeds Jim Jenkins who led the 115-member healthcare group for four years. Humphreys focuses her practice on advising healthcare clients on a range of operational, regulatory and transactional issues and leads interdisciplinary teams in mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare sector.

She is active in both local and national healthcare organizations and is a Fellow of the Nashville Health Care Council and a past director of Leadership Health Care. Humphreys currently serves as chair of the Health Care M&A Committee and vice chair of the Health Law and Life Sciences Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. Humphreys received he undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Tennessee.
