Last month, nearly 200 professional covering a broad range of healthcare industry segments - from administrators who run hospitals to the architects, engineers and construction companies that design and build facilities - gathered at the Tennessee Hospital Association headquarters for a Turner Construction Company MED Talks event.

The topic the second annual installment of Turner's exploration of healthcare issues was "Consumerism in Healthcare." The timely topic was explored by a panel of experts that included Tim Adams, president and CEO, Ascension St. Thomas; Patrick Duke, managing director, CBE Healthcare; and Adam Peebles, vice president of National Accounts and Sales Operations, Trilliant Health. The panel was moderated by Charles Hagood, president of Strategic Consulting, Press Ganey Associates.
