Last month, Nashville-headquartered LBMC announced a key talent acquisition to the company's Healthcare Consulting Practice. Mark Armstrong, MHA, FACHE, FHFMA has joined LBMC, a leading accounting and business consulting firm, as a shareholder.

Throughout his career, Armstrong has acquired deep experience working in or advising for-profit and not-for-profit health systems, hospitals, physician practice organizations, and other types of provider organizations - both public and private, urban and non-urban. The first 18 years of his career were in C-Suite roles within hospital systems, including two community hospitals and a large academic health system. Those experiences have provided a unique understanding of the nuanced issues healthcare executives face.

Active in numerous professional organizations, he received his MHA, Health Systems Administration from Xavier University and an undergraduate accounting degree from Georgetown College.
