Tennessee Quality Care, a division of American Health Partners, has opened a home health, private duty nursing and hospice office at the company's corporate headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee. The office will bring its award-winning care to individuals living in Williamson and Maury Counties.

"We are excited about this expansion, which will position us to better serve our friends and neighbors in Franklin, Brentwood, Spring Hill, Columbia and the surrounding areas," said Kelly Nichols, RN, and vice president of Operations For Tennessee Quality Care Home Health, Hospice and Private Duty Nursing.

Tennessee Quality Care has been serving Tennesseans for more than 30 years from 16 satellite offices across West and Middle Tennessee. In recent years, its offices have won numerous recognitions for quality care, including the 2018 Patient Satisfaction Award of Distinction from Fazzi Associates, which recognizes agencies for meeting exacting standards in quality, efficiency and patient satisfaction. The Tennessee Quality Care office in Jackson was named the No. 1 home health agency in the Jackson Sun Readers' Choice Awards.

When individuals are recovering from an injury, surgery or hospital stay, Tennessee Quality Care Home Health providers can offer a full array of home-based treatments, therapies and support services to help the patient return to good health. Specialized programs are available for those with heart failure, diabetes, asthma and COPD, and the agency's Next Step program helps individuals improve mobility and prevent falls.

"Our nurses, therapists and caregivers care deeply about their patients," said Victoria Kirkham, RN, and clinical manager of the Franklin office. "Families know they can depend on us to provide personalized care that helps each patient regain function and achieve health goals so they can live their best lives,"

For those with more complex needs who require more time-intensive care, Tennessee Quality Care can arrange for private duty nurses to come into the home for several hours a day or even around the clock. Private duty serves are available for all ages, including children.

Tennessee Quality Hospice provides end-of-life services and support to individuals and their caregivers both in private homes and in residential care facilities. Teams consisting of doctors, nurses, nurse aides, social workers, pastors and volunteers work together to serve those with a terminal illness. The hospice team provides care that's focused on comfort, quality of life and dignity.

Eligible services are covered by comprehensive health insurance policies, including Medicare, TennCare and many private insurance providers.
