Community Health Provider to Unveil the New Full Service Clinic Mobile Unit, Free Physicals and Fun for Whole Family
NASHVILLE -- Connectus Health will soon bring a full-service clinic on wheels into Nashville neighborhoods, and will debut the mobile service at a community event for Whole Family Health Day presented by Connectus Health. The event will be held Saturday, July 23 at Cane Ridge High School from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Connectus’ Whole Family Health Day will offer free physicals and other services, games and fun for the family, just in time for sports and other school activities.
The mobile unit will give Connectus the ability to travel to local schools and areas within the community to offer primary and routine healthcare services for all. The hope is to further alleviate the financial pressure that can affect some families during this time of year.
The event will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:00 a.m and will follow with tours of the mobile unit, conduct school and sports physicals, access to community resource organizations, obstacle course games, ice cream from Moosic City and a chance to win a Visa gift card every hour to spend on school supplies or other needs.
Connectus serves more than 20,000 unique patients annually with primary care and preventative services, behavioral health care, transgender health care, midwifery and women’s care. The patient population represents more than 60 countries and 30 languages, and the team of providers places a special emphasis on culturally sensitive care.
Whole Family Health Day presented by Connectus Health is sponsored by Wilson Bank and Trust. Other community resource organizations including Nashville Diaper, UHC, Tennessee Justice Center and Second Harvest Food Bank will also be at the event offering their services.
