Monthlong program offers perks, discounts and a grand prize “staycation”

Nashville - Vanderbilt Health will launch a new employee awards program, “Work Perks,” next week to celebrate its staff and their dedication.

The initiative, which will allow employees to explore many uniquely Nashville experiences, is being launched as a component of Vanderbilt Health’s employee recruitment and retention activities. Central to the program is an interactive website through which employees can play games to earn perks in music and entertainment, health and wellness, dining and local attractions.

Throughout September, employees can enter a drawing for “The Ultimate Staycation.” Five employees will be randomly selected in early October for grand prizes including a one-night stay at The Bobby Hotel, Visit Music City’s Star Pass, dinner at an M Street restaurant, and a gift basket with local favorites from The Loveless Café, Olive & Sinclair Chocolate Co., and Arrington Vineyards.

“We’re excited to show appreciation for our dedicated workforce in this way and we’re grateful to so many generous partners to help make it happen,” said Amy Schoeny, Chief Human Resources Officer.

“This is just one of the many benefits and perks that we offer to those who choose to pursue careers in making health care personal for our patients today and in the future.”
