Vanderbilt Health Pleasant View is now open. The new outpatient facility is operated by physicians, nurses and staff of Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Offering greater convenience to primary care and specialized medical services for patients in Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson counties, the 25,000-square foot structure is located just off Interstate 24 at 6536 Highway 41A in Pleasant View, Tennessee.

“This attractive new facility is centrally located to serve the citizens of counties located northwest of Nashville, eliminating the need for a longer commute to access a unique array of services including primary care, cancer and women’s health. I want to express my appreciation to the members of our team who brought this facility to fruition,” said C. Wright Pinson, MBA, MD, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Health System Officer for VUMC.

Vanderbilt Health Pleasant View offers women’s health, medical oncology, spinal care, imaging and lab services, in addition to primary care and a walk-in clinic.

Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center Pleasant View will offer oncology care closer to home for patients. The clinic’s providers are Waleed Khalaf, MD, PhD, assistant professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Hematology Oncology; Robert Hester, MD, MS, assistant professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology Oncology; and Sarah Murawski, PA, a hematology-oncology physician assistant with expertise in cellular therapies and bone marrow transplants.

“We’re offering comprehensive cancer care,” said Khalaf, medical director of the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center (VICC) Regional Network. “We will have a chemotherapy infusion clinic, gynecologic-oncology services and other medical specialties. We will be very close to Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center at Tennova Healthcare – Clarksville for patients undergoing radiation therapy. We will also offer a lot of ancillary services. We will have a nutritionist and a social worker available. Our main philosophy for Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Clinic Pleasant View and all of the other network sites is really to deliver quality oncology care for our patients closer to where they live.”

Vanderbilt Center for Women’s Health Pleasant View cares for women at all stages of their lives — throughout their reproductive years, pregnancy and delivery, and through menopause. The team of physicians, midwives, and nurse practitioners are on-site and have access to higher level services including gynecology specialties, high risk pregnancies, and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Gynecologic surgeries and deliveries for Pleasant View patients will occur at Tennova Hospital – Clarksville. Ultrasound and mammography services are also offered on site at the new Vanderbilt Health Pleasant View medical office building.

Vanderbilt Spine Center Pleasant View is staffed by Richard Berkman, MD, assistant professor of Neurological Surgery, and Susan Stephens, MSN, APRN.
