TriStar Centennial Medical Center Earns Top Award for Outstanding Quality and Safety

Nashville – Highlighting its nationally recognized achievements in patient safety and quality, TriStar Centennial Medical Center was named a Top Teaching Hospital by The Leapfrog Group. The award is given based on the quality of patient care across many areas of hospital performance, including infection rates, practices for safer surgery, maternity care and the hospital’s capacity to prevent medication errors.

Over 2,200 hospitals were considered for the award, with TriStar Centennial Medical Center receiving a Top Teaching distinction. A total of 115 top hospitals were selected as Top Hospitals.
