Wold Architects and Engineers Hires Doug Roeder as Healthcare Principal

Brentwood — Wold Architects and Engineers (Wold), a nationally recognized multidisciplinary architectural and engineering design firm, announced that it hired Doug Roeder, EDAC, as healthcare principal in its Tennessee office.

Roeder joins Wold with over 30 years of industry experience in healthcare, education, government and commercial design, planning and development. His background includes leading design teams across the healthcare, university and institutional buildings, hospitality, commercial, municipal and industrial markets. Most recently, Roeder advanced strategic healthcare initiatives and business development at Burns & McDonnell, a full-service engineering, architecture, construction, environmental and consulting firm, as national healthcare practice leader and lead medical planner.

In his role as healthcare principal at Wold, he is responsible for leading complex healthcare projects from programming, planning and design through occupancy and post-occupancy evaluation. As a licensed architect and leader, Roeder focuses on practice strategies and forecasting clinical demand and physician requirements.

Roeder holds an Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC) and earned his bachelor of architecture at the University of Notre Dame.
