Clarus Adds Two to Executive Team

Nashville - Clarus announced the addition of two experienced executives to its leadership team, according to Rich Maradik, CEO of the SaaS patient call management platform.

                          

Blake Butler joins as Chief Revenue Officer and Sean Farrell as Chief Customer Officer at Clarus, which provides reliable, cost-effective call management technology for thousands of physician offices across the U.S. and handles more than 9 million calls annually.  Clarus was founded in Nashville in 2013 and Graham Healthcare Capital acquired the business in June 2019. 

 

Maradik welcomed Butler and Farrell to Clarus, saying, “We are excited and honored to have these outstanding individuals on the executive team at Clarus. Each is a proven healthcare industry executive who will provide both the strategic vision and the operational execution to further establish Clarus as a leading patient call management platform.”

 

Butler comes to Clarus from Cecilia Health, where he served as Vice President of Enterprise Strategy.  He is a 25-year veteran of healthcare who has sold for and led sales and sales strategy with companies such as Pfizer, McKesson, athenahealth and United Healthcare. A graduate of Georgia State University who was in broadcast journalism before focusing on sales, Butler lives in his hometown of Atlanta with his wife and three boys, where he is an active volunteer in Boy Scouts of America, Open Hand Atlanta, and multiple youth sport organizations.

 

Before joining Clarus, Farrell was the Chief Revenue Officer for Healthcare Leadership, where he provided fractional leadership to healthcare companies needing to build, expand or professionalize their organizations. He exceeded revenue quotas for emerging start-ups, mid-sized firms, and the world’s largest laboratory. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Sales and Strategy for RDx BioScience.  He lives in Franklin with his wife and two sons, and is the President, Board of Managers of GiGi's Playhouse, the Nashville Down Syndrome Achievement Centers.
