Many healthcare workers go into this field due to a passion that was inspired by a previous hospital experience. For me, that was one of my grandpa’s nurses. She made a profound impact on me that led me down a career path where I now have the privilege to advocate for 2,800 nurses across TriStar Health.
Nurses do incredible things every day. We consider it an honor to care for our patients and their families, and we treat them like they are our own family. I get to see this first hand when I visit our hospitals that stretch from Smyrna, TN to Bowling Green, KY. Their compassion, empathy and expert skill shine through in every interaction.
As we celebrate Nurses Month this May, I would like to recognize nurses across Middle Tennessee. Your commitment to care for your patients and communities is inspiring. Across our TriStar Health hospitals, we are committed to supporting and advocating for our nurses who dedicate themselves to a mission greater than themselves.
