TriStar Skyline Medical Center is proud to welcome Dr. Reuben Bueno, a reconstructive plastic and hand surgeon. Dr. Bueno is board certified in plastic surgery and hand surgery and treats acute and chronic conditions of the hand, nerve compression, nerve repair, tendon repair and reconstruction, skin lesions and masses of the hand and wrist, and complex wounds. Dr. Bueno also treats burns and burn scar contractures.

Prior to joining TriStar Skyline, Dr. Bueno was the founding associate dean for clinical education and professor of surgery at the Thomas F. Frist, Jr. College of Medicine at Belmont University. Dr. Bueno will continue to serve as an affiliate professor of surgery at Frist College of Medicine. Dr. Bueno was selected as a Nashville Health Care Council Fellow in 2022. A Nashville Native, Dr. Bueno is a graduate of Montgomery Bell Academy, Yale University, and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in plastic surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine affiliated hospitals. He completed his hand and upper extremity surgery TriStar Skyline Medical Center | 3441 Dickerson Pike| Nashville, TN 37207 | TriStarHealth.com fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, and a pediatric plastic surgery fellowship at Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
