We appreciate all news leads of interest to the professional healthcare B2B marketplace we serve.  Please see our guidelines below.

GUIDELINES FOR PRESS RELEASES

Please email your relevant press releases to news@nashvillemedicalnews.com.  We prefer PR's in Word format with one or more high quality JPG images.  We prefer images with a 4:3 or 3:2 aspect ratio when possible.  Our staff will use these as a starting point for potential articles.

GUIDELINES FOR CONTRIBUTOR ARTICLES

Contributed articles should be non-advertorial in nature. Promotion of the author’s business or branded product within the article requires that we reject it. There can be a generic discussion of a product and if it is, for instance, new to the market we can, at our discretion, allow a single brand reference without superlatives; subsequent references need to be generic in nature.

Contributed articles should be in narrative form expressing the author’s expertise and without dialogue or quotes. Please keep them between 750 and 1000 words with a 60-75 word boilerplate at the end of the copy mentioning items such as the author’s name, position, business, relevant expertise and email contact and website, but no phone numbers.  Please remember that Medical News is a B2B publication for the healthcare community. Articles directed to healthcare consumers do not represent our target market.

Contributors can submit articles or photo slideshows and share in 40% of the gross advertising revenue on the website each month.  Contributor earnings are proportional to their contribution to the month's readership (page views).  Earnings can be paid directly to the contributor or can be directed to a good cause like a qualified non-profit.

Articles are subject to editing for style and are not returned for proofing by the author except at our discretion for clarification.

Contributor articles are submitted directly on our website.  Look for the red capsule at the top of the right hand corner as seen below.  If you are not already registered as a user, click on “Register” in the red area. Follow the instructions to setup a user account.


Once you have registered as a user, log in to the site and click on your user name in the red area and click in the dropdown menu on “New Article”

Submit the article as required and submit for review.  We will review your article and, if it meets our guidelines, we will publish it (possibly with light editing to meet our standards).
