Nashville has a total number of 293 cases of COVID-19. Today's cases represent an increase of 36 cases in the past 24 hours after only having a handful of cases confirmed over the last two days. The 293 number reflects both lab results and reports from physician offices. The lab-confirmed cases are 284 with the 9 additional cases being first reported by physician offices.

Of the confirmed cases, there has been 1 death in Nashville (3 statewide), 12 hospitalized, 228 self-isolating at home and 52 recovered. The age range for cases in Nashville is 2 months to 94 years. This is a change as an MPHD investigator confirmed a two-month-old tested positive today and is reported to have only mild symptoms at this point.

In addition to the updated numbers, Metro officials discussed the MPHD COVID-19 Hotline, which was launched yesterday. The hotline is answered by nurses and other public health officials to provide the latest information, answer questions and assist Davidson County residents with the assessment process.
